community outreach

We are a missional church that is intentional about reaching and serving the lost. That is why we have ministries that serve our immediate community of Sarcoxie as best we can and help us do this in Spiritual, relational, and practical ways. We want to live in our community helping out in anyway that we can. We do this through service projects, notably our annual “Great Day of Service” where we all come together after church and work in various people’s yards around the town.

Another way we help is through our backpack ministry which fills backpacks of food for kids who don’t have enough food to eat on the weekends during the school year.

We also have a food pantry that functions out of our church to help our community who have gotten into a tough situation and need food. For more information about either of these go to our food ministries page

If you wish to help with this ministry in anyway contact our church office at office@fbcsarcoxie.org.

As much as we love helping our community we also realize that as Acts 1:8 tells us, we are called to go to “the ends of the earth.” We are a church that has a strong passion to see the gospel brought to other nations and helping aid the organizations that are doing great things there already! The last several years we have been able to go to different cities in Brazil and help the community there build a church and spread the gospel to the Brazilian people. If you are interested in more information about this ministry contact us at office@fbcsarcoxie.org.
